Fast Track CSCS Black Card NVQ Unpacked.
The words ‘Fast Track’ are often banded about as though there is a magic speed wand which when used gives permission for time pressured individuals to pop to the post office and be awarded a Management NVQ. Some fall foul to the temptation and sign up without fully knowing what Fast Track means and of course it means different things to different NVQ providers.
When it comes to gaining an NVQ there are scheme integral themes such as evidence requirements including: Sufficient, Authentic, Reliable and Appropriate. Without these themes the letters NVQ could stand for Not Very Qualified whereas in fact they stand for National Vocational Qualification and without these NVQs it is difficult to gain a CSCS trade, supervisor or management card.
Fast Tracking candidates in their NVQs is what we do at RivaSure but it is not with a magic speed wand. It is with a sound on line system, guidance and support.
Our authentic Fast Track system is built by educating the candidate, teaching about the Evidence Circle, how to plan and write candidate statements, how and when to accrue evidence and how to present and reference that evidence; all in all how to efficiently present the working experience of our candidates in an organised and sequential fashion to meet the qualification standards.
To this end we have created online video Unit introductions and Unit Learning Outcome Assessment Criteria audio pod casts which enable our candidates to understand what it is precisely they are being asked for, whether it is product evidence (evidencing what they do) or knowledge evidence (evidencing what they know with candidate statements / knowledge questionnaires).
For further instruction and confirmation we hold professional discussions with our candidates and give regular feedback and hold group training seminars, either at our location or at our client’s locations.
I always advise candidates to give themselves and their studies the time they deserve and by following our authentic Fast track system and guidance, our candidates complete to programme. How long you may ask? That entirely depends upon the ability of the candidate, their time commitments and how well they adhere to our guidance but realistically, a Level 6 Management NVQ can be achieved within 2 weeks full time or 3 months part time. Should a candidate wish to complete their NVQ in or within one week, we also offer a 1 to1 completion full time programme: Stop when you drop!
