Taking on academic construction studies worries some as it feels like being the keen inexperienced fisherman who fears getting swallowed by the fish, so the trip is aborted or put back until it is absolutely and critically essential. The analogy of the fisherman and the fish sounds silly, but many are fearful about entering into academic studies, as it may be a new venture in which they feel like a fish out of water.
